Extending

Eight recipes, one task each. Every one names the files it touches before the first instruction, uses real code from this repository rather than a sketch, and ends with the command that tells you it worked.

They assume you have read the section they extend. A route added below its guard, a table queried with a sql template, or an offer whose catalog amount does not match its Stripe price are all things that compile and all things these pages exist to stop.

Rebrand the storefront is the one to read first if you are turning this into a different product, and before you start deleting. It names every file that says Fast Forward Dev and separates what you rewrite from what you keep. Theming is the visual half of the same job.

  1. 01Add an api routeAdd a route to the api with its Zod schema, its middleware, and its response type.
  2. 02Add a database tableAdd a table to the Drizzle schema, generate its migration, and query it from a route.
  3. 03Add a planAdd a price in Stripe, then a catalog entry that grants an entitlement, then card copy so it appears in pricing.
  4. 04Add an emailAdd a React Email template and send it from the api through Resend.
  5. 05ThemingChange the daisyUI tokens, the fonts, and the dark theme without touching component markup.
  6. 06Maintain translationsAdd interface copy and published Markdown without leaving the Danish site behind.
  7. 07Use and extend the KitUse a Kit component, override one with className, and add a new one with its gallery demo and its accessibility obligations.
  8. 08Rebrand the storefrontChange the six identity fields, rewrite the storefront prose that names FFD, and keep the Kit.
